UV SAFETY MONTH

The majority of skin cancers are caused by Ultra Violet (UV) light, thus people should take precaution. Not only does the skin need protection from the harmful UV rays, but we should also remind the public that protecting your eyes from UV radiation is just as important as protecting your skin.
Usual suspects of aging and burning are sun rays and man-made light sources such as tanning beds, mercury lamps, halogen and fluorescent lights and lasers.
Because we use light everyday, we don't see the effects much that is why awareness and precaution is a priority.
