Eyewear collection for new season

Eyewear collection for new season

The sun’s out in full force, making sunglasses a necessary fashion accessory for style-conscious individuals. House of Branded Lifestyle Inc. (HOBLI), the Philippines’ largest distributor of branded eyewear has launched the first set of its Spring/Summer collection featuring a wide range of sunglasses from different brands, to fit the various needs and fashion choices of its customers.

One of the overarching thrusts in these year’s releases is a focus on sustainability. This is seen in the releases from Gucci, Ray-ban, Emporio Armani, and HOBLI’s own house brand, Tony Morgan London.

Fashion house Gucci has released limited-edition sunglasses which are made with recycled acetate. Its white oversized frame is complimented with brown finish lenses for an elegant look. Meanwhile, Emporio Armani continues to take a step towards sustainable fashion through their eco-conscious eyewear collection. The pieces in the collection are made of bio-acetate, a material consisting of 65 percent raw materials from renewable sources.

Furthermore, the eyewear packaging consists of recycled polyester, which includes roughly 50 percent recycled material for low environmental impact.

Forever shifting horizons, Ray-ban’s classic Wayfarer takes a new direction once more by also utilizing renewable materials. The Bio-Acetate Wayfarer is made with 67 percent bio-based materials derived from renewable sources such as cotton, wood pulp, cereals, beet and sugar cane. The style comes in 2 classic colorways (Black and Havana) and 3 new striped patterns (red, blue, gray). Each pair comes with a special pouch and box made from organic and recycled materials.

Tony Morgan London marries style and sustainability in their eco-friendly frames collection. The pieces in the collection are made with organic materials such as cotton and wood pulp, making them lightweight and durable. Known to protect the vision of the digital generation, each eyewear is equipped with blue-light blocking lenses. Customers can get an additional pair for free for every purchase of Tony Morgan eyewear at any Vision Express store.

More colorful frames are also in this year, with many designers going for splashes of colors instead of the drab black or gray. Releases from Bolon, Gucci, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Tom Ford, and other fashion brands featured oversized frames in various shades of color and patterns, many of which use translucency for an additional pop of pizzaz.

The new lineups are now available at Vision Express, HOBLI’s own eyewear and eyecare stores nationwide.
