Vision Express begins nationwide tour for DepEd’s National Learning Camp
Quezon City, August 11, 2023 — Vision Express is making a significant impact in the field of education through its ongoing 'Vision for Education' campaign. Following successful endeavors at the Palarong Pambansa in Marikina City and Brigada Eskwela in Tarlac, the company has now extended its reach to the DepEd National Learning Camp (NLC).
On their first stop at the DepEd NLC in West Fairview High School in Quezon City, Vision Express provided free eye exams and eyeglasses to students, giving them the tools they need to succeed in their educational journey. Additionally, the campaign delivered exciting branded freebies that added an element of joy to the experience.
One of the highlights of the event was an engaging eye health talk conducted by Vision Express eye experts. The talk enlightened students about the crucial connection between proper eye care and effective learning. Moreover, it shed light on the potential risks associated with excessive screen time, particularly in the digital age when students are more exposed to screens than ever before.
The 'Vision for Education' journey doesn't stop here. Vision Express is gearing up to take this transformative campaign to various locations across the country. The upcoming destinations include Manila, Cavite, Iloilo, Davao, and more. Through its CSR arm Vex Cares, it will also partner with tertiary schools, offices, homeowners’ associations, TV networks, and foundations to provide more free eye care products and services in Pasig, Makati, Quezon Province, Dagupan, and Laguna, to name a few.
